ANGELIC PRETTY

Pretty please

It’s Game Day, and as a 23-point underdog, things may get ugly, so here’s a pictorial that’s just the opposite, just in case

If things get depressing this afternoon, and Bruin fans who have DirecTV start wishing this game was airing on the Pac-12 Network (which DirecTV still doesn’t carry), I give you this:  An alternative viewing option that is sure to lift your spirits, and remind you that you can still take pride in being a UCLA fan.

“Angelic Pretty” is a Japanese Clothing company, that is #1 in the World in producing and selling Lolita Fashions.  No, it has nothing to do with “Lolita” the book/movie, or anything to do with what that book/movie is about.  It actually is all about an Internationally-popular street fashion of frilly, lace-y Victorian/Rococo-style clothes that are old-fashioned, innocent, conservative, and porcelain doll-like.  They are generally for adult women who want to embrace the Princess within, celebrating a certain youthfulness and cuteness that often is stolen from women — unfairly — as they mature.

But none of this matters.  None of this has anything to do with this pictorial… except the name.  “Angelic Pretty” just seems to fit the girls of the UCLA Spirit Squad perfectly.  Check out these 30 photos, and tell me I’m wrong.
