Just a great, great win by the Bruins. And, unlike the 2006 game, this one has the feel of a program changer. Now lets get the Dodgers to the world series (sorry, TH, couldn’t resist that one.).
As Barnes2Stokes wrote (great handle btw), this win did feel like a program changer, provided we can keep the coaching staff intact. With success comes other programs looking to poach your coaching talent. With Mora, Mazzone and Spanos, the HC and OC/DC roles are secure. Klemm is an awesome recruiter and OL coach, as are our other position coaches, but I have to single out Klemm because of his ability to coach up the frosh we have on the OL, which is a notoriously difficult position to transition to from high school.
UCLA needs to pony up the funds to secure our coaching staff to keep the momentum going.
