Ex-trojan Gabe Pruitt gets arrested at 3am in Hollywood on suspicion of drinking and driving

Getting beat by the Clippers will do that to you.

On Wednesday night, after his Boston Celtics got upset by the lowly Clippers, former usc player Gabe Pruitt was pulled over and taken in on suspicion of DUI.  Now THAT is a “tough night.”

It’s actually been a pretty tough WEEK for Pruitt, who might have been drinking just to drown his sorrows — as the Celtics are picking up Stephon Marbury, who will probably take away ALL of Pruitt’s playing time.

It isn’t a good week for usc either, as they lost to Cal in Overtime on Thursday, 81-78, to fall to 7-8, while the Bruins beat Stanford 76-71 to improve to 10-5, and ensure that they finish ABOVE sc in the final Pac-10 standings (not that that is “news” or anything).  Josh Shipp and Alfred Aboya were the stars of the game for UCLA, who is trying to gain some momentum for the Tournament (the one that the trojans will possibly have to watch on tv).
