BLAME IT ON THREE-O

Unbeatable.

Things are looking up in Westwood, where the Bruins are 3-0 for the first time since 2005

UCLA:  Enemy of the States.  First they disposed of San Diego STATE, then they shocked what seemed like the entire STATE of Tennessee, and then on Saturday, they turned away Kansas STATE University.  A nice beginning, and something to build on, but nothing to cause complacency.  None of the vanquished will achieve anything this season, despite the Volunteers’ respectable showing at Florida on Saturday.

The Bruins will find things a lot tougher in the coming weeks, starting with the post-bye trip to Stanford.  By the way, it would be nice to see Damien Thigpen get a few more touches, but just not on Kickoffs after Cardinal scores.  Also, it will be nice to see Milton Knox back in the mix at Tailback, following his one-game suspension.

The Bruins should keep on improving, especially when Kevin Prince comes back, and especially because their penalty problems are definitely fixable, so if they can stay in the win column for a few more weeks, they could actually be on the verge of a magical season.  And speaking of magical, allow the following to cast a spell on you…

Magic Power.

Whoa, oh, oh, it’s Magic.

Magic in the air tonight.

Abracadabra (by request).

Magic Hour.

I wish that she never disappears.

Got a black magic woman…

“Seems to mesmerize, can’t avoid those eyes…”

This one was taken right around the time sc lost to Washington.
