Catholic shame — The trojans gets knocked out of the Top 20, and out of relevancy, by a 49-14 spanking at the hands of the Fighting Irish
Turnover-machine Sam Darnold — a FORMER Heisman frontrunner — choked again this week, failing miserably to live up to the hype, in a 49-14 annihilation by Notre Dame. The embarrassing “Catholic Catheter” loss plummeted the trojans 11 spots in the polls, out of the Top 20, and permanently out of the Playoff conversation.
Sc was down 28-0 before halftime, and it didn’t get any better. ND was never threatened, and the hopes of trojan fans died two hours later. With all that talent, it’s starting to look like Head Coach Clay Helton is not all he’s cracked up to be. Could he be the third “better-as-an-assistant” coach that sc has hired to fail dramatically at bringing the trojans to elite status?

AND… Congrats to the Bruins for finally beating Oregon. First time in 10 years. And first home game I didn’t attend in 49 years. SAD!!
